Tips for a Great Day

Tip #1: Don't leave home without your Fun Fest Guide!

Have a look at the "Schedule of Events" for the weekend. What is happening each day that you would like to do or see? Be sure you're not caught at one end of the park if you want to see another event at the other end. If there are two venues you would like to attend, give yourself enough time to get there.

Tip #2: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes

There is a lot to see and do at the Fun Fest each day and comfort is key. There will be lots of walking and perhaps a line or two to stand in so good shoes are a saving grace. Be sure to dress in layers so you can keep yourself comfy all day and night.

Tip #3: Bring enough cash

You'll undoubtedly want to play some games, ride the midway or shop amongst the wonderful vendors at the Fun Fest. ATM machines and credit cards are not typically an option so having enough cash for the day will save you a trip to the bank part way through your fun. And with cash you may be able to haggle on the price of some of the treasures you want to buy.

Tip #4: Bring a camera

This is a great weekend to meet up with some old friends you haven't seen in years or maybe you'll make some new friends along the way. You never know who or what you'll see so be sure to have extra film, memory cards, and batteries.

Tip #5: Bring a picnic

Without a doubt you will find some wonderful things to eat at the Fun Fest but why not bring the family together on the grass for a good ol' fashioned picnic for one of your meals? It will give you a chance to re-group and formulate your plans for the rest of the day.

Tip #6: HAVE FUN!!!

Fun Fest only comes once a year, like Christmas, so soak up the sun and have loads of fun for this will have to last you until next year.
